Description

Botropase is a hemocoagulase preparation used to arrest bleeding of different etiology. It is an enzyme preparation with hemocoagulase activity which is attributable to the protein batroxobin. The enzyme clots pure fibrinogen like thrombin, releasing fibrinopeptide A from fibrinogen.
